Apple launches iPad3 with Retina display, A5X chip, 5 megapixel iSight camera and 4G LTE

Apple today introduced the new iPad, the third generation of its mobile device, featuring a new Retina display, Apple’s new A5X chip with quad-core graphics and a 5 megapixel iSight camera with advanced optics for capturing photos and 1080p HD video. iPad with Wi-Fi + 4G connects to networks worldwide, including AT&T’s and Verizon’s 4G LTE networks, and still has a 10 hour battery life. Beginning today, iPad 2 will be offered at a reduced price starting at just $399. The new iPad’s Retina display delivers four times the number of pixels of iPad 2, with a resolution of 2048 x 1536. , the new A5X chip enables quad-core graphics and the 5 megapixel iSight camera features advanced optics and backside illumination. The iOS 5.1 includes a redesigned Camera app with video stabilization technology and works seamlessly with iCloud. The Wi-Fi version sells for $499 for 16GB, $599 for 32GB and $699  for 64GB.
