Chinese telecom electronics giant Huawei has announced a significant focus shift towards consumer tech. In the wake of a stagnating telecom market, the company is looking to expand its market share in the consumer tech sphere, possibly getting into tablets. The news could be good for Microsoft as well, as Huawei's phones will feature the Windows 8 operating system, and tablets may soon as well.
