VIDEO - An eco-friendly MRI

The Vantage Titan, from Toshiba Medical Systems, is a new MRI system that uses over 25 percent less power than conventional models. To do this, the system automatically recognizes when imaging is not happening, and turns off standby electricity. The system also uses Toshiba proprietary technology to eliminate the need for gadolinium contrast agent, reducing patient discomfort and making the imaging process less expensive. The Vantage Titan also features a 90 percent noise reduction.
