Biography Information

Genevieve Victoria Kayat is Patexia’s International Content and Marketing Manager. She is sourcing key innovations and intelligence related to Intellectual Property in Asia and Europe while building bridges toward Patexia’s global audience and experts.

French aerospace engineer, technologist and connector, Genevieve supports innovation with purpose. Genevieve is managing partner and founder of Enthalpi Advisory, a consulting firm specializing in early-stage clean technology developments and deployment of solar technologies in Asia (including concentrated solar power and energy storage technologies). She is a generalist engineer with talents in operations and strategic planning. As an operational manager, she worked at Lisi Aerospace, the 3rd leading aerospace fastener manufacturer in the world, and implemented innovative programs to increase efficiencies in operation that resulted in sustained savings of $1.2M per year.


At Safran Group, a French international high-technology group, she led optimization research on aviation noise and air pollution mitigation techniques and elaborated recommendation for the international regulation institutions. At the French Space Agency, she was modeling the liquid propellant for the Ariane’s upper stage rocket engine. She visited the University of California Santa Barbara to conduct fluid dynamics research.




An avid social entrepreneur supporter, she established a development structure at Jihi Charitable Corporation for a Web 2.0 online Micro-donation platform. Genevieve is a former Rotary Ambassadorial scholar, keen volunteer to solve social and environmental challenges leveraging technologies. She is currently mentoring not-for-profit start-up ventures in Asia.



Genevieve earned her Master of Science in Aerospace engineering from University of California, Los Angeles in 2006. She obtained her Master of Science from l’Ecole Polytechnique Feminine (EPF) in France in 2005 and studied at the Swiss Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). Addict of the great outdoors, she is currently based in Auckland, New Zealand, and enjoys sailing and climbing the Southern Alps.
