Biography
Courtney Ambrosia is a writer, entrepreneur, and media consultant with an eye for technological trends and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. Hailing from New Orleans, she was immersed in a vibrant cultural atmosphere that stimulated her creativity from an early age. After graduating from Rhodes College in 2007 with a B.A. in creative writing, Courtney immediately joined the Suburban Community Newspaper Group as an account executive for the Shelby Sun Times. During this time, she also served as a member of the local chamber of commerce in Germantown, Tennessee. She moved further north to St. Louis and was a journalist for AOL’s Patch.com before eventually reaching the piercing conclusion that she was not cut out for cold weather. After making her big move to California in 2011, Courtney began working as a media consultant and copywriter for a wide array of Los-Angeles based technology and media companies, including Patexia, Ematic, and Tree Home Media. In the true entrepreneurial spirit of her Millennial Generation, she crafted her first start up e-commerce business in 2013, which has since continued to steadily evolve. She currently resides in New Orleans (again) because she had an epiphany after living the dream in California that she needed to be in a different LA (Louisiana, that is.) In her spare time, she enjoys pixel pushing, attending festivals, reading science fiction novels, travel writing, and crafting her soulful online creative portfolio,www.nectararts.com
