Vote on the responses of fellow experts, or submit your own theory highlighting your insights into the future of cyber security. Who’s right? It's up to the crowd.
As a society we shift the details of our businesses and private lives further into the digital world each year. Cyber security and the network of technologies built to protect the information stored on our smartphones, computers, networks, and online will become more essential as the threats and attempts to harvest that information increase in strength. Whether it is credit card information stored in an app, or details of the global financial system secured by international banks and governments, protecting it will be the major challenge of the future.
Please provide a response to the following prompt:
What will be the single greatest cyber security threat in the next 5 years and what can be done to proactively address it?
