Does "products in development/deployment" also include patents which mention implantable devices using the same concept for detection?

Patents can be helpful to point to companies which may make a product of the type we're looking for, but a patent alone doesn't prove that an invention is being produced. Try looking for products made by the company/assignee of these sorts of patents--this might help you find evidence of the products themselves.
