Apple asks who's next; ZTE unconcerned

ZTE is probably not next in line for a Samsung-esque smartphone IP takedown, but as a member of the top five telecom manufacturers in the world, the prospect has to at least be on their minds. They even use Android -- basically a bullseye painted on the back of all your cell phones (maybe even a bullseye in the shape of an apple). But as ZTE told Reuters today, they are unconcerned. "If we can state at least five differences between our phones and the iPhone, then we're not violating any patents," said Luo Zhongsheng, vice president of the company's handset division.
