Camouflage film

Dr. Debashis Chanda from the University of Central Florida has developed an ultra thin flexible, full color reflective display film. The film is few microns thick and its color can be changed applying different voltages. The film doent require any light source for color display, as it reflects incident light.  The filmhas been developed on the principle of the thin layer on animals like chameleons, octopuses, squids, etc., whose skin is covered by a thin, flexible and color changing film. The film can be applied on flexible materials like synrthetic fabrics and plastics for dynamic display of colors.
