Curiosity shakes off dust, prepares to make moves

Yesterday, Curiosity wiggled its front and rear wheels -- a crucial test of the steering actuators before the rover team will do its first driving today. After more than two weeks of successful operations and systems tests, the rover will begin its move from the landing site to greener (or perhaps redder) pastures. Mount Sharp -- a particularly interesting rock formation near the rover's landing site -- is the final destination, but the rover is not likely to reach it before the end of the year. In the meantime, there's science to be done!
