EFF's Spotlights "Stupid" Prison Phone Call Patent

For a little light reading ahead of the holiday, the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) published the latest installment in its "Stupid Patent of the Month" series. This time, US Patent 9,026,468, issued to Securus Technologies, was in the spotlight for essentially covering the concept of engaging a third party payer to cover the cost of prison-based phone calls.
