Entering the device market, Amazon arms itself with IP

A Reuters report this morning suggests that Amazon is on the lookout for some top IP talent. As the online retailer moves into the mobile device sphere, it will need to defend itself against an increasingly large number of patent lawsuits. Amazon is listed as a defendant on 48 IP lawsuits in 2011, and 26 so far in 2012.
