Flipping Around Technology Transfer

In technology transfer, there are two sides involved, universities and industry, often times they view each other as opposition. One looks at the other as the perpetrator of "discounting intellectual property” and the other a "slow as a snail" partner. This challenge is so systemic that business models exist to try and fill this gap! I know this, because I have been a part of various business models trying to mitigate this innovation divide that is often inaccurately portrayed.
