Over the past few months, starting with the Indian Supreme Court's rejection of Novartis' Glivec patent in April, big pharmaceutical companies have been experiencing some turbulence on the sub-continent. In just the past week GSK's Tykerb patent and Roche's Herceptin patent, both breast cancer drugs, have been revoked to some degree.
