Lenovo offers no-contract mobile broadband

Following in the footsteps of the device-specific-internet-anywhere platform offered by the likes of Kindle, Lenovo is stepping into the mobile broadband game -- but their service will be less free. For any Lenovo laptop that is equipped with 3G connectivity, they offer "pre-connected, always-on, customizable connectivity to the Internet and corporate networks." Access is not free, however, and users will be required to pay a-la-carte for their time on the network.
