Local engineer receives patent on device to stop coastal erosion

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

A local engineer is trying to save Louisiana's coastline from erosion. While coastal protection agencies have approaches used now, David Minton, a Lake Charles engineer, says they're costly and he thinks he has a better idea.
