Perma-Fix Introduces Breakthrough Soil Segregation Technology, Offering a Cost-Effective Solution for Customers

Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. PESI -1.12% today introduced its breakthrough soil remediation design using AMEC's Orion ScanSort(SM) in-line assay and sorting system, which was developed to segregate radioactive impacted materials into "above and below" the sites' approved acceptance criteria. Perma-Fix has a Strategic Alliance Agreement to jointly market and operate the technology with AMEC, an international engineering and project management company that developed the Orion ScanSort(SM) in-line assay system.
