PTAB Knocks out Illumina Claims

Last week the USPTO's Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) nullified claims 1-13 of US Patent 8,296,076 in response to an inter partes review brought by Ariosa Diagnostics. The '076 patent is owned by Illumina and is at the center of patent infringement litigation filed by Illumina against Ariosa.
