With all the media covering the recent Northern California District Court decision, it's easy to forget that the patent wars are being waged elsewhere in the world as well. Today, a Tokyo court ruled in favor of Samsung in an infringement case brought by Apple. This comes as good news for Samsung, as the non-American smartphone-consuming world slowly becomes an increasingly important market.
