Sun and Acorda Settle Patent Litigation over Ampyra Generic

Earlier this week, India-based Sun Pharma settled patent litigation with Acorda Therapeutics over the launch of a generic version of Ampyra, a drug used to improve walking abilities in patients dealing with multiple sclerosis (MS). As per the settlement, Sun can start distributing an Ampyra generic in the US beginning in 2027.
