About the Speaker

Soody Tronson is the founder and principal at STLGip, a Silicon Valley boutique technology law firm, counseling domestic and international clients in a wide range of technologies. Soody is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in law, technology, and management. The firm specializes in all aspects of patents and trademark preparation and prosecution, as well as technology transactions (e.g. licensing). She is a frequent lecturer at domestic and international forums, instructs courses on IP, licensing, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship; and serves as mentor with several organizations. She is the Chair of the Licensing Executives Society, Silicon Valley Chapter; and Member of the Board of Directors, and Co-Chair of Patent section with the Palo Alto Area Bar Association.
