Biography	Dr. Farzad Ahmadkhanlou received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Ohio State University. In 2012 he founded Intelligent Design Technology LLC where he is currently serving as the president. He is the inventor of the ISA Kit, an all-in-one educational mechatronic kit for the students in STEM programs. He is also a faculty advisor for Engineering Design in Industry program at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Ahmadkhanlou has been involved in multidisciplinary research and development for the last 20 years in different engineering disciplines such as smart material and intelligent systems, electric and hybrid vehicles, haptic devices, telerobotic systems, additive manufacturing, and software development. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of California, a committee member of National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES), a technical reviewer of several peer-reviewed engineering and science journals, and the author of more than 30 technical publications in accredited journals, conference proceedings, and technical reports.
