Air Products & Chemicals to unveil freezing tech at International Poultry Expo

Air Products' portfolio of cryogenic food processing equipment that uses liquid nitrogen (LIN) to rapidly chill, cool or freeze products will be on display at the upcoming International Poultry Expo (IPE) in Atlanta, Georgia. Air Products will feature its Freshline® LIN-IS, a specially designed liquid nitrogen injection solution that can be retrofitted to new or existing mixers, grinders and blenders for cooling. Other innovations in freezing technology developed by Air Products will be on display as well, including cryogenic LIN freezers like the Freshline® DM tunnel freezer and the Freshline® QS tunnel freezer. The company also plans to perform live LIN freezing demonstrations of its quick freeze technology which results in the formation of smaller ice crystals, thereby causing less damage to a product's cellular structure.
