Cheetah robot faster than Usain Bolt

Boston Dynamics is at it again with another DARPA-funded robot reminiscent of the animal from which it gets its name. The Cheetah robot borrows moves from the real animal, but has a long way to go to match the cheetah's 75mph top speed. Even the title of the video is quick to note, though, that this is slightly faster than the world's fastest recorded human. The robot is clearly pushed to the limit in the video, and it's speedy recovery after almost falling towards the end is a testament to exceptional balancing abilities, perhaps adopted from its much slower robot precursor, Big Dog.
