Google and Microsoft Reach Patent Truce

Google and Microsoft have agreed to end a long-running patent feud by dropping up to 20 legal cases in the US and Germany. The truce covers all litigation involving Motorola Mobility, whose patents Google retained after selling the business to Lenovo last year. Motorola Mobility had been accusing Microsoft's xBox of infringing its patents, while Microsoft was accusing Motorola phones of doing the same.
