OTTAWA—Mosaid Technologies Inc. (TSX: MSD) is suing HTC America, Inc. and Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications (USA) Inc. over alleged patent infringement involving technology “essential to all cellular telephones that implement the emergency 911 standard.” The suit was filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, the Ottawa-based patent-licensing company said.
