Qualcomm Faces Korean Antitrust Probe Over Chip Licensing

Qualcomm has revealed that it received a report from the Korea Fair Trade Commission with a preliminary decision that it has has broken the country’s antitrust rules. The report specifically highlighted Qualcomm's  tactics for negotiating licenses, and its practices of licensing its intellectual property at the device level and requiring customers to enter licensing contracts.
