VIDEO: Common infant vaccine not associated with serious intestinal disorder
In 1999, a rotavirus vaccine for infants was pulled from the market because it was associated with an increased risk of intussusception, a rare but serious intestinal disorder most commonly seen in children less than a year old. But, new research has found no link between the current vaccine and the disease.
