VIDEO - Privitized space flight one step closer

Early yesterday morning, Elon Musk became a very happy man. SpaceX, Musk's private space flight company, made an important first step towards establishing his eventual goal of extensive privitized space travel. The SpaceX Falcon 9 and Dragon capsule lifted off from Cape Canaveral Air Force station, and will rendez-vous with the ISS as a proof-of-concept for SpaceX's new business: selling cargo transport to upper-earth orbit. If successful, SpaceX could usher in a new era of space travel independent of governments now too strapped for cash to support dying space programs.
